FPM–ALZ AD/ADRD Fellows Program

The Pasqual Maragall Foundation opens a new call in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s and dementia research.

The Pasqual Maragall Foundation–Alzheimer’s Association Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias (FPM–ALZ AD/ADRD) Fellows Program 2026 call aims to support outstanding early -and mid- career investigators to undertake translational and clinical research focused on AD/ADRD at a public or non- profit organization based in Spain. It will fund, with up to €400,000, projects carried out within a maximum period of four years.

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (PhD) obtained no more than 15 years ago and, at time of award, be considered full-time employees according to their host institution’s definition. Additionally, they must not have held a position as an independent researcher at a public or non-profit research organization based in Spain for more than five years.

The Program is open to outstanding researchers worldwide. Providing the Host Institution approves the application, it is not necessary for the PI to be employed by the Host Institution at the submission deadline.
